GasGuard Product Range

The GasGuard range of LPGas nozzles has been developed to meet the needs of all targeted international AUTOGAS markets. Many years of experience and innovative technical developments have positioned the GasGuard nozzle at the forefront of safety, reliability and performance. We are able to offer our customers the following nozzles and safety back-check valves:

GasGuard 'GG1' Series

Nozzles in the GasGuard 'GG1' series are suitable for the filling light duty/Autogas vehicles as well as mobile and stationary L.P.G. tanks. There are three different nozzles in the UL Listed GG1 range, the GG1E, the GG1EH and the GG1DN, which cater for differing customer needs. The characteristics and advantages of each of the three nozzle types are explained below. These nozzles supersede the 'GasGuard LG1' series of nozzles. With a lightweight & well balanced construction, the nozzles are designed to give the user a more ergonomic and safer way to refuel their Autogas vehicle or storage tank. The GG1 series design has also been enhanced with significant improvements in operational performance and reduced maintenance equirements and like all GasGuard nozzles, they are fully repairable.

GasGuard 'GG20' Series

Nozzles in the GasGuard 'GG20' series are designed to reach into, and connect to, deep-seated filler valves, as associated with forklift truck cylinders and RV filler valves in similarly difficult locations. This is possible due to the extended connector on the outlet of the nozzle which allows customers to connect to fill points with a more difficult access point. There are three different nozzles in the UL listed GG20 range, the GG20, the GG20H and the GG20DN, which cater for differing customer needs. With a 35mm longer connector the nozzles are ngineered with the same function as their shorter GG1E, GG1EH and GG1DN counterparts. With a lightweight & well balanced construction, the GG20 series design has seen significant improvements in operational performance and reduced maintenance requirements, and like all GasGuard nozzles, they are fully repairable.

GasGuard 'GG30'

The GG30 GasGuard nozzle is suitable for the filling of light duty/Autogas vehicles as well as mobile and stationary L.P.G. tanks which are fitted with the ‘Bayonet’ fill adapter (conforming to EN12806 – 2003). The Bayonet fill adaptor is mostly used in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands; it is also seen in industrial applications in South America. The GG30 Series GasGuard nozzle adds improved features to its predecessor, the LG30 Series nozzle. The GG30 has significant improvements over the LG30 nozzle, including improved ergonomics, lighter weight, improved flow rates, lighter Lever pressure, along with a significantly reduced release volume, known as ‘product loss’ to atmosphere on disconnection.

GasGuard 'GG11'

The GG11R Safety Back-Check Valve is used in conjunction with the high-flow LPGas nozzles found on the end of hose reels. The GG11 attaches to the outlet of the hose reel nozzle and acts as a secondary safety check valve in case there is a leak on the tank receptacle after refueling is completed. This enables the user to remove the nozzle from the site, while the GG11 contains the tank leak until corrective action is taken. With a bleed screw on the side of the body, the GG11R version allows the user to safely bleed the contents of the Safety Back-Check Valve and nozzle or alternatively check for leaks at the end of the fill.

ZVG 2 EURO UL

New Generation LPG Dispensing Nozzle
Elaflex has been providing refueling equipment for Autogas dispensers for thirty years. The long term experience gained in these markets has enabled us to develop the ZVG 2 nozzle range, tilizing a modular construction for different coupling types. The most advanced system is the EURO 'push-on' connection to European Standard EN 13760 and UN R 67. Compared to common threaded couplings, EURO connectors incorporate a variety of advantages, such as easy one-handed operation, enhanced safety features and very low gas release upon uncoupling.
After successful introduction of the ZVG 2 EURO to Europe in 2009, Elaflex recently gained the UL certification. This special type for the North American market is called ZVG 2 EURO UL.

Nozzle Boots

Our Nozzle Boots NB-GG and NB-ZVG for LPGas dispensers are a simple and neat solution to the housing of all nozzles in the GasGuard and ZVG range.
The Nozzle Boots are easy to mount and are made of a robust single piece casting of AlSi12 aluminium. Due to zoning restrictions within the dispenser, the Nozzle Boots are completely enclosed so that no residual LPGas present in the nozzle is able to enter into the housing of the dispenser.
A Reed contact switch can be attached to the rear side of the boot, by the original equipment manufacturer.
On the front side there is the possibility to attach a lock to secure the nozzle.
